Ideas are evaluated based on usefulness, originality, feasibility, market potential, and product potential.

  • Is the problem real and specific?
  • Can it be built well as a first product?
  • Does the idea have an audience?
  • Is there something genuinely different about it?

Selection

Promising ideas are selected for development. Most submissions are not selected — that is the nature of a selective process.

  • Selected ideas get a project page
  • Scope is agreed before any build starts
  • Development status is tracked publicly

Build

Selected ideas are turned into functional apps and websites for free. Development time depends on the complexity and scope of the project.

  • Design and engineering handled end to end
  • Testing before anything is called finished
  • Launch links published on the project page
